About Us

ToolSprouts is a free collection of calculators and converters designed to help everyday people, students, professionals and developers get quick, reliable answers without creating an account or installing anything.

Who Builds ToolSprouts

ToolSprouts

ToolSprouts builds browser-based tools for inspecting structured data and preparing files, with calculators for supporting everyday tasks. The project publishes reproducible examples, expected outputs, and its testing methods alongside the tools.

Our Mission

We built ToolSprouts around a simple idea: everyday math and conversion tasks shouldn't require a spreadsheet, a search through outdated forum answers, or a slow, cluttered website. Every tool on ToolSprouts is designed to load fast, work correctly, and get out of your way.

Our Focus

ToolSprouts focuses on browser workflows for inspecting structured data and preparing files. The JSON workbench preserves numeric tokens and compares documents by path; the image and video tools show actual output sizes. Everyday calculators remain available in the library for supporting tasks.

What We Offer

ToolSprouts covers financial calculators (EMI, SIP, GST, compound interest and more), date & time tools, health estimators, everyday math, unit converters, image and video tools, and developer utilities like JSON formatting and Base64 encoding — all processed locally in your browser wherever possible, so your data stays on your device.

How We're Funded

The tools are free to use without an account. We plan to support the service with clearly labeled advertising. Ad delivery is currently disabled while the advertising and consent setup is being reviewed.

What Makes the Tools Useful

Each tool combines a working calculator or editor with examples, assumptions, and help interpreting its output. The JSON tools preserve numeric text and flag duplicate keys; converters label their unit conventions; date tools distinguish calendar differences from exact instants. These details matter when a quick answer needs to be checked or used elsewhere.

Maintenance and Responsibility

ToolSprouts maintains the calculation code, explanations, and sample cases together. The testing page lists observed results and limits; the practical guides show complete tasks using fictional inputs. We distinguish mathematical estimates from measured file sizes, and we record significant changes on Site Updates.

How the Content Is Produced

Development and documentation use AI assistance. Features and explanations are checked against explicit sample inputs, automated regression cases, and selected browser checks. Test files and the method page make those checks reproducible; they do not establish that every possible input or device has been tested. Financial and health tools carry educational-use limitations.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

We build every calculator using standard, well-documented formulas and test them carefully. That said, results from financial and health calculators are estimates for general informational purposes — see our Disclaimer for details.
