Choose the calculation that matches your question
Use EMI for a fixed-rate loan payment, compound interest for growth of one starting balance, and SIP for repeated monthly deposits. A deposit plan and a lump sum do not produce the same result, even at the same assumed return.
Keep rates, periods, and costs consistent
Enter an annual rate where requested; the tool converts it to its payment or compounding period. Currency selectors change the displayed symbol, not the exchange rate. Compare estimates with the lender's schedule or product terms: fees, taxes, variable rates, and investment losses can change what you actually pay or receive.
For purchase arithmetic, use the discount calculator to reduce a price and the GST calculator to add or remove a rate you have already verified for the transaction.
